What is boudoir photography?
Boudoir or Intimate Photography is sexy photography that’s especially popular to give as a gift to the groom, your husband or boyfriend, or significant other, for any occasion. The photos may even be "just for you!" The photographs are usually taken wearing lingerie, draped fabric or sheets, costumes, or even casual clothes. Whether they are “for his/her eyes only” or something you can give for their desk, that is always up to you. I specialize in all ages, and body shapes. You may not feel like a model when you arrive, but you will when you leave!
“Will my photographs appear on the Internet or anywhere else without my permission?”
The clients you see on my website have given Moments by Mandie permission to display their photographs. Your photographs are completely confidential and for your own use. I have a very private studio and I pride myself on my confidentiality. Should I post one to my page, all tattoos, faces and identifiable markings will be covered.
“How long does it take for my photographs to be ready?”
Digital images are typically ready within one hour. Prints take longer to receive as those require shipping and could take 2-3 weeks. Press printed albums take a bit longer. Rush service is available upon request for an additional fee.
“What forms of payment do you accept?”
I gladly accept cash, or credit card payments. Payment plans are available.
“Can I bring a friend to the session?”
Please don’t invite family or friends to your session without checking with the studio first. It works best for the photographer to work one on one with each client without having to focus on an additional party inside the studio.
“I’m not exactly at my goal weight, should I wait until I lose a few pounds?”
I highlight your best features. With the proper wardrobe selection, posing and lighting techniques, my clients are delighted with how great they look.
“How revealing do I have to be?”
How revealing or conservative you want to be is up to you. Some clients do a variety of poses, some for “his eyes only” and one for his desk at the office. We offer nudes or semi-nudes if requested. We can discuss the poses you feel most comfortable with and, if during the session, you wish to try a different style, I can certainly work with you.
“What if I don’t like any of the photographs?”
With several clothing changes and a variety of poses, clients always find images they are happy with!
“I don’t like a lot of make-up.”
I want you to be comfortable! When you are comfortable, your face will shine! Your hair and make-up is your choice. Come prepared upon arrival, please.
“I’m nervous. I’ve never done anything like this before.”
I find that once we meet and make your wardrobe selections, you will feel a lot more relaxed and ready to enjoy yourself.
